I AM THE PRINCIPAL SCHOOL COUNSELOR.
I support school-linked and school-based counselors across all types of learning communities—from traditional and alternative schools to micro and home-based education. I help counselors and teams foster student support with clarity, strategy and genuine care. Together, we explore what’s possible when counselor expertise shapes meaningful outcomes.
I’m Sherann Alkins, The Principal School Counselor.
Since 2005, I’ve worked in student services serving both school-based and school-linked spaces. My work has always been about protecting student potential and elevating the adults who support them.
I started Counselor & Concierge™ because I saw a gap. Counselors and school leaders were being asked to do more—without the support, tools, or clarity to do what mattered most. We were navigating systems that weren’t designed for our brilliance—or our students’.
This work is about helping you lead with imagination, think critically, and stay grounded in purpose. I design with you, not for you so you can feel confident, aligned, and prepared to support the students who need you most.
