For nearly two decades, I've been doing just that, transforming the traditional principal's office into a hub of collaborative growth and student-led empowerment. As The Principal School Counselor, I've walked a unique path, blending roles in alternative education, school counseling, and nonprofit leadership. My journey has been driven by a singular mission: to revolutionize youth-centric services and ensure every young person feels they truly belong.
Throughout my career, I've witnessed the profound impact of combining high-quality academics with a nurturing environment. I've held hands in hospital rooms, answered urgent video calls, and amplified student voices to decision-makers. These experiences have shaped my belief that every student deserves an advocate who sees their potential and fights for their success.
This passion led me to found Counselor and Concierge, a venture born from my desire to extend the reach of belonging to all students and to spotlight the invaluable contributions of school counselors. By recognizing their expertise, we're not just improving student outcomes—we're fostering more equitable educational landscapes.
